Modernising Horam Park Golf Club with a new website, members area and golf platform
EDP built a modern digital platform for Horam Park Golf Club, combining a fully redesigned website, SEO and AI Search Visibility foundations, original photography and video content, an editable admin portal, a members area and integration with Caddyio, EDP’s golf club web app.

Client snapshot
Horam Park Golf Club is a public nine-hole golf club in East Sussex, with a course, driving range, clubhouse, bar, function space, Pro Shop and PGA coaching.
The club had invested in its facilities and had plenty to offer members, visitors and local people, but its old website did not reflect that clearly. Important parts of the club were either difficult to find, underplayed or not presented in a way that matched the experience on site.
Horam Park needed a modern digital presence that felt clearer, more useful and easier to manage.
What they needed
The project needed to do more than refresh the design. Horam Park needed a website that could properly support the club, both publicly and behind the scenes.
The priorities were clear:
- Present Horam Park as a friendly, public golf club open to members, visitors and non-golfers
- Showcase the course, facilities, clubhouse, events, coaching and memberships more clearly
- Give the new Rapsodo Range system stronger visibility as a key selling point
- Build the site with SEO and AI Search Visibility in mind
- Create better routes for enquiries, bookings and contact
- Give the Horam Park team control over key website updates
- Support members with a private digital area
- Use original photography, video and drone footage rather than relying on generic visuals
What we did
We created a new website and digital platform built around how Horam Park actually operates.
The public website was redesigned to make the club easier to understand from the first visit. Instead of a flat brochure-style site, the new structure gives clear routes into the course, facilities, memberships, events, lessons and visitor information.
The course section was also given more depth, with a clearer overview, drone footage and individual hole content shaped with input from the club professional. This helps visitors get a better feel for the course before they arrive.
Built with search in mind
Search visibility was built into the project from the beginning, not added afterwards.
The site was structured around the real services and facilities people are likely to search for, including public golf, nine-hole golf, driving range, PGA coaching, clubhouse, events, funeral receptions and celebrations of life in East Sussex.
The copy was also written with AI Search Visibility in mind. That meant making Horam Park’s content clearer, more specific and easier for search engines and AI answer systems to understand.
Bringing the Rapsodo Range to the front
A key part of the project was helping Horam Park communicate the value of its new Rapsodo Range system.
The driving range is now positioned as a more advanced practice and playing experience, where people can hit real balls outdoors while using shot tracking, video feedback, AR-powered features and access to more than 30,000 virtual courses.
This gave Horam Park a stronger message around one of its most exciting new facilities.
Original photo, video and drone content
To make the website feel authentic, we supported the build with multiple content days at Horam Park.
This included photography, professional video and drone footage across the course, clubhouse and facilities. Working around the club’s busy schedule, we captured the setting and key selling points in a way that made the new site feel specific to Horam Park rather than generic to any golf club.
Admin portal, members area and connected app features
The website was built with an editable backend, giving Horam Park’s team the ability to update key content themselves.
This was one of the biggest wins from the project. The team can now log in, make changes and keep information up to date without needing technical knowledge or developer support for every small update.
The project also included a private members area and connected Caddyio functionality, supporting features such as member information, live tracking, scoring and play-by-play activity.
The results so far
Horam Park now has a modern digital platform that better reflects the club and gives the team more control.
The new website brings the club’s course, facilities, events, memberships and key services together in one place, with clearer information and stronger calls to action. It also gives Horam Park a better foundation for search visibility, AI Search Visibility and future digital improvements.
Early feedback from the club has been very positive. The team has gained confidence from being able to update the site themselves, and the backend has been designed to be simple enough for non-technical staff to use.
The project has delivered:
- A modern website that reflects the club more accurately
- A clearer structure for members, visitors and event enquiries
- Stronger SEO and AI Search Visibility foundations
- Better visibility for the Rapsodo Range
- Original photography, video and drone content
- An editable admin portal for the Horam Park team
- A private members area
- Connected Caddyio features for future club technology
Ongoing partnership
Horam Park now has a digital platform that can continue to grow with the club.
As the website, members area and connected app features are used more actively, the platform can evolve around real feedback, course updates, booking behaviour and the needs of the team.
EDP will continue to support Horam Park with the digital foundations needed to keep the club visible, practical and easy to manage.
